Quilting needles are a very short and fine needle with a round eye. The diameter of the needle is the same as a sharp needle however they are much shorter in length to allows the quilter to create quick and even stitching. The most popular size used by the most experienced of quilters is either a size 11 or a size 12, and we recommend a beginner to use a size 7 or a size 8 quilting needle.
